For students who’ve missed a lecture or two, Notehall provides the solution that enables you to buy and sell lecture and study notes. It’s like the eBay of lecture notes. It was founded by four University of Arizona students DJ Stephan, Sadi Chalfoun, Sean Conway, and Justin Miller. Its launch was made earlier this year with an undisclosed seed round from DreamIt Ventures. From the Arizona State, it continues to expand its coverage all over the colleges in the United States. One could earn about 75 cents to $1 per download by selling lecture and study guides through Notehall. The buyers has the option to earn or buy the credits for them to get the downloads. Credits may be earned through referrals, rating notes or it is also possible for sellers to opt for credits instead of cash payout. Of all the packages, the most popular is the 300 credits worth $6.99 making it equal to three study guides and 12 lecture notes.
It is expected to boom after its feature at the ABC Show “Shark Tank.”
